MORROW REARDON WILKINSON MILLER, LTD., Landscape
Architects, was originally founded in 1973 as the office of Baker
H. Morrow, Landscape Architect. Our primary objectives have been
consistently to provide innovative design and quick responsiveness
to the requirements of each project. We have a keen sense of the
long history of landscape architecture in the Southwest, and our
practice extends throughout the region. We have generated such
concepts as the “Foothills
Garden,” “Rio Grande Landscape Architecture,” and
site specific design with historic references, which we continue
to refine in our current projects. Our objective is to achieve
at a reasonable cost the creative goals of both the firm and our
clients while producing landscape architecture with a distinctive
Southwestern “feel.”
During 35 years of professional practice, Morrow Reardon Wilkinson
Miller, Ltd., has expanded its capabilities through the addition
of new staff members and methods advancing our ideal of landscape
architecture as an art and profession. In designing and seeing
through to completion the construction of over 3000 projects (to
date), Morrow Reardon Wilkinson Miller, Ltd., has furthered the
appreciation of landscape architecture as a means of improving
the quality of life in urban and rural settings throughout New
Mexico and surrounding states.

Our project types include – among
others – national, state, county, and municipal parks, plazas,
schools, streetscapes, housing of all sorts, museums, libraries,
universities, botanical gardens, hospitals,
ranches, wetlands, farms, offices, shopping centers, opera grounds,
and historic landscapes of all kinds. Our projects have earned
over 85 design and planning awards to date.
In the Southwest, water is our most precious and
finite resource. Morrow Reardon Wilkinson Miller, Ltd., Landscape
Architects, have been pioneers of water-wise landscaping for two
decades. Beginning with appropriate design of the site, our approach
also includes soil amendments for more efficient use of the additional
water provided to the landscape, selection of low-water-use plants,
an efficient irrigation design and application of water, selection
and placement of mulch for water retention, and provision of information
on proper maintenance of these landscapes.
We are a full service firm, offering complete design and construction
document production, irrigation design planning, and thorough
site observation services during construction. We use AutoCad
computer software for our construction, planting, and irrigation
plans, estimating and details. We are able to smoothly coordinate
our computer generated data with our engineers, architects, and
owners to assure efficient, precise transfer of information and
quick response to project deadlines.
Our offices are located at 210 La Veta NE in Albuquerque. |
